After completing this help guide, you’ll be able to:
- Create new Club Staff member.
- Add Club staff registration to existing person.
A Club staff member refers to the non-coaching officials that travel with a squad on a match day, such as team managers, physios, or sports scientist. You can register these members to your club and add them to match day sheets via COMET.
Creating of a club staff can be done in one of two ways:
- Creating a new staff registration for person that does not exist in COMET; or
- Add a staff registration for a person that currently exist in COMET.
Lets start with the first one and assume that the person does not exist in COMET.
- Once logged in select Coaches and Staff from the left hand menu.
- Select New Club Staff.
- Complete the personal details about the club staff member.
- In the Active Registrations section, ensure that the Status is set to CONFIRMED.
- Select the relevant Registration Type from the dropdown box.
- Input the Date From. This is the date the persons registration is active i.e. when they began the role at the club.
- Select Save.
Easy! The person will now be a registered club staff to your club. Now, lets look at how this would work if the person already exists in COMET.
- Once logged in use the Quick Search bar to find and select the relevant person.
- Once at the person’s dashboard, use the View As dropdown to select the Staff registration type.
- Select New Registration.
- In the Active Registrations section, ensure that the Status is set to CONFIRMED.
- Select the relevant Registration Type from the dropdown box.
- Input the Date From. This is the date the persons registration is active i.e. when they began the role at the club.
- Select Save.
